Minnesota's winter of 2023-2024 is unusually warm. The plants are confused. This raspberry plant is still making leaves in December. The leaves are red and green at the same time. There wasn't snow on the ground when I saw these leaves but I put snow in the painting to emphasize the fact that these leaves are experiencing winter.
